Objectives

To achieve academic excellence and 100% placements for the students

To develop department intranet providing groupware tools for the faculty, courses and study materials for the students.

To conduct at least one faculty development program every semester

To conduct National and International conferences regularly.

Short-Term Goals
- To introduce research Programs
- To set up the Research and Development Laboratory in Network security
- Conducting bridge courses regarding the upcoming trends in software
- Conducting seminars by eminent personalities to explore the core subjects in-depth
- Conducting Industrial Tours to the students
- Activating students to do Mini projects semester breaks.
- Sending students to various institutional, regional and national level technical paper presentations.
- To achieve 100% placement
- To encourage the students to become entrepreneurs
- To achieve a target of 5 lakhs from consultancy in three years
- To achieve an average compensation package of Rs. 2,40,000 per annum per placed student
- To reach MOU with at least two companies regarding projects
- To secure at least Rs 10 lakhs from AICTE as MODROB project scheme
Long-Term Goals
- To nurture R&D lab in Network Security into center of excellence.
- To ensure that every faculty member is a doctorate.
- To conduct one international seminar every two years
- To sign MOU with at least 5 Indian Multi-National Companies
- To sign MOU with at least 4 reputed institutions, two from U.S., one from Europe and one from India
- To reach Rs.10 lakhs target from consultancy
- To motivate at least 25% students in pursuing higher studies
- To promote at least 5% of students to be entrepreneurs
- To obtain ‘R&D center’ center certificate from department of Science and Technology
- To set up R&D labs in Mobile computing, Grid computing Embedded systems and Tera scalecomputing areas.
ACHIVEMENTS:
* Accreiated By NBA of AICTE for Three Years With Effect from 2008.
* Accreiated By Tata Consultancy Services.
* Received Status of Permanent Application with JNTUK,Kakinada for three years Since July 2010.
* Renewal Application is pending with AICTE
